For those of you that fancy a little Challenge over the weekend....
The Royal Marines Commando Challenge Event is being held over the weekend of
October 23 & 24 2004.
The Challenge is in it's 14th year and has been staged in excess of 30
times.
Each year over 2000 brave competitors raise money for the Gemini Radio
Charitable Trust by completing either the 3-mile "fun" Challenge or the
7-mile Commando Challenge.
In 2003 over £75,000 was raised for the Charitable Trust which supports the
local community in the Exeter area by making grants to community groups,
youth organisations and charities.
