Burt, Paul says that you, Burt, checked up on him, Burt. Burt, why did you,
Burt, check up on Paul, Burt, and what were the ramifications, Burt, for
you, Burt, when you checked up on Paul, Burt? Thanks, Burt.

Burt, Paul says, Burt, that the authorities, Burt, gave you, Burt, a good
seeing to, Burt, when you, Burt, checked up on Paul, Burt. Burt, what
happened, Burt, when you, Burt, checked up on Paul, Burt? Thanks, Burt.

Burt, when you checked up on Paul, Burt, did you use your contacts at the
Ministry to dig up the dirt on him, Burt?

Burt’s really bouncing quite badly about having his Wartime Adventures
called out as a sham.

Pedantry aside, what we can all agree on is that Mamma Burt regularly put
out for the GIs from the local base. It’s why Burt is so spectacularly
prejudiced against Americans; a platoon knocked his mum up and left her
holding the Baby Burt.

Do you reckon Burt’s still trying to shift those excess several stone he
was complaining about?

I do believe that Rog’s specialism was geriatrics, maybe he could shed some
light on Burt’s condition? Angry, irrational, slow of wit, not eating
properly, tendency to lapse into fantasy worlds, sounds like end-of-life
symptoms to me. What do you think, Rog? What the fuck is Burt’s problem?

If you put all the clues together, this is the only logical outcome, Rich.
