Newtel Ytel 20mbit Fibre Optic Broadband Speedtest

Had my ytel fibre install yesterday. We started out trying to push what's
known as a snake down through the cable ducts behind the cable faceplate so
that the new cable could be pulled up. See here

the photo is simply a tool to pull cables through and not an actual cable
itself. However there was a brick in the way so the snake couldn't be forced
right down.
So then we thought about running the cable through the loft and down the
trunking used by my Sky satellite connection see here

However it became evident that this wasn't going to be possible.
Then someone had the idea to use the cable faceplate in the bedroom and use
the snake on that which we did and managed to pull the cable through as
there was no blockage this time. Here is a photo depicting this
