Aberdeen woman lied about sex attack by taxi driver

Court told there was no reason for claim

Published: 02/06/2012

ADMISSION: Alison Brock was fined £900 after wasting police time.

AN ABERDEEN woman who told police she was the victim of a sex attack by
a taxi driver made the story up – for no reason.

Alison Brock, 45, whose address was given in court papers as 30 Earns
Heugh Crescent, Cove Bay, Aberdeen, lied to officers and her fiance
about being sexually assaulted at the end of a journey home.

Her defence solicitor said she was still “at a loss to explain” the claims.

Brock appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court where she admitted making false
allegations and was fined £900.

Jail her until she is no longer "at a loss" to explain her lies.

I can guarantee she'll sober up pretty quickly.

Is she a relative of Phil Lee, or a regular reader of uk.rec.cycling? I
believe that the advice given there is that if a taxi driver annoys a
cyclist that the cyclist should invent a tale of sexual assault.

Yes, I remember that. He encouraged his cycling friends to make false
accusations of child molestation, didn't he?

Perhaps someone can locate and cite that message, to make sure it remains in
clear public view. If the Police ever receive such an allegation from him,
they will need to know that it may be a malicious lie.

He did indeed!

I don't have it but Judith does!

Ok. Look in:
uk.net.news.moderation

subject: Re: OT : UKLM - Not a complaint !!

Phil Lee gives his reasons why laying such a malicious complaint against a
taxi drive is justified!
