What is OTE Bonus?

Hi folks,

in several job descriptions, I've noticed the salary being "+OTE Bonus"
or "+OTE Benefits".

But I haven't been able to find an explanation of what that is.

Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong group, but if you know the
answer, please let me know.

OTE stands for On Target Earnings. It is mainly for people who are on
a low basic plus a commission for what thye sell. So if your monthly
target was to sell, say 100 widgets and you got ten pounds per widget,
your monthly wage was £600, your monthly OTE would be £1,600.
