I've been reading through the thread with subject title: Topic Number
29993 and I've got two questions which might be closely related.

1. When was moderation introduced?

2. When was this charter:

Answering my own posting :)

I've just been reading the excellent postings of paul and it looks like
1998 is the year that uk.gay-lesbian-bisexual became moderated. I guess
the charter has been a changing thing from 1995, so a specific date for
it is not really going to exist.

The result of the vote to moderate the group is dated 15th June 1998 [1]
and the control message which set the moderated "flag" is dated 28th
April 1999 following problems getting the moderation system working. [2]

The Charter was last revised in May 2005, even though the four changes
that were voted on failed. [3]
