After a long very mild spell, the current cold weather is definitely not to
my liking.

And so far, we've had no snow in West Berkshire. Well, none that's settled
anyway. Normally by now we'd have had at least one morning with snow on the
ground.

Clear in Cardiff too, though on Friday there was a very hard frost that
created a lot of black ice that made walking trecherous.

No real snow in Edinburgh, but last week I had to skate out of the house
rather than attempting to walk. No such problem today (yet...)

I've been told that as soon as one gets out of the city it becomes all
covered in snow, and foggy for good measure, but I don't feel the urge
to go and see for myself.

I'm not too far away from heading south for the rest of winter.

It's your age, pet.

Help yourself to a hot choc from the vending machine; it's been so quiet in here since it was installed I think we're still on our introductory offer of fifty free vends.
