Lord of the Rings - War in the North - GFWL?

I got this game today and the box and manual says its GFWL, but where
is the client to sign into live?
This is very confusing...all there is is a x for multiplayer which
takes you to your steam friends to ask for co-op or whatever, there is
no GFWL client to login to LIVE.
Only a a multiplayer option which takes you to your steam friends.
Now I am confused about this, why does the game box cover and manual
say GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE and the manual tells me to connect to live
(but not how, like press HOME button if you are using a x360 gamepad
on the PC so the client drops down for you login to
LIVE).............Is it a lie? It looks like it? Does it have GFWL
connectivity as the box and manual say and how do I get it?

I installed it for Fallout 3 and have only used it for that and
Where's Waldo. It's like Steam but worse.
