My 3DS friend code for my user - Wizardling - is 1993-9715-6985 if you'd
like to visit my new version of Big Pond (was my town in Wild World
too). Or play any other 3DS games we might share :-)

I haven't been back to Bangaio for ages. I suspect the animals will
have all left.

I shouldn't have bought the newest AC. I burnt out in under a month,
heh.

Indeed. While New Leaf was obviously the best AC ever, it just felt a
bit too familiar.

But I actually went back to it every couple of weeks for over a year, so
maybe playing it slowly is the best way.

I played AC on the GC and loved it, but am left with feeling like I
have "done that". I can't imagine what would make me want to play it
again.

That's the trouble, isn't it? Just not enough has changed, even between
GCN and 3DS Animal Crossings.

I made the same mistake buying Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, after having
played Sapphire back in the day on my GBA. Burnt out in under a week, in
that case.

But Mario Kart has managed to be fun every new version, for me so far. A
timeless gameplay :-)

Wow... blast from a past thread ;-)

I did give in and buy AC:NL when it was on special. As it turned out, my
first instinct was right - I only played for a couple weeks before
becoming bored with mostly more of the same from AC:WW. Oh well, I know
better now. Unless AC is vastly expanded next time around for handhelds,
I'll save AC for my good memories of it on the DS.

I got bored quite quickly with New Horizons, I think because it felt
like I was a long way behind I got with Wild World and New Leaf and I
was just trying to catch back up. If I'd been able to import stuff
from my previous games I think I would probably have played it more.
