up to Katwijk, in which case they might still be operational.

Both problems are undersea issues, so don't expect speedy resolution if
you are down."

I live near Bude when I'm not at uni, so it's probably my fault somehow. I'm

There was a problem with the TAT-14 line that connects the US to most of
Europe which has caused a large number of sites to become unavailable.

Apparently the Southern leg was already down due to some faults, and the
Northern part has also had a failure this evening.

Someone mentioned that AboveNet/MFN have been completely cut off from
Europe, indeed I can't reach them outside of the UK.:

So there ya go, whether it's true or not I don't know.

Yep, I use Blueyonder. I tried at 5pm last night, and only got the
newsgroups. Glad to see it wasn't only me...
There seemed to be a problem on Monday evening too, as everything seemed
to get 'stuck'.
Seems to be fine now though. E-mail seems to be working. Got a backlog to
get through now though...
