I wonder if people will actually buy it, or not bother and wait until they
can buy a 'back-up' version . . .

All the best,

just cruisin' along in my BMW."

Why the heck buy a back-up for around a fiver, when you can buy the original
for the same price?! It's at impulse buy levels for 99% of DC owners, and
I'm sure if I see it in a shop, I'll buy it.

The same goes for me. Even if I saw it for download on one of the
newsgroups I'd still buy it.

No, it's not been cancelled. I ordered it from Amazon.co.uk for £1.26 using
a £5 gift certificate (get as many as you want free from
http://www.lineone.net - I've got about 15) on 8th December, but then they
told me it was cancelled and so cancelled my order for me. I went and had a
look for it again last night, and lo and behold, it was there on Amazon
again, with a release date of Tues 19th!!! So I ordered it then, using a
different gift certificate and e-mail address, for £1.26 and it's been
shipped today, so I should get it tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.

I received it today. Amazon are brilliant, a million times better than
streetsonline at delivery. Apparently, you can't play it against computer
controlled opponents, which means I won't want to play it much as it costs
to play online. Anyway, it's great for £1.26, I'll play it when i get my DC
on Christmas day.
