Well AFAIK anyway. Me, 008 and Electroretro tried it all together (ooer)
tonight and it worked fine (nearly, more on this later). We setup a lobby
called UGVD, limited it to three so that no wandering Yanks would join, then
started a game..

..well not quite. Me and 008 had a game first while waiting for Electro.
No problem, ran great, I got caned, pretty good connection though, or so I
thought. Then Electro joined, we started a game, I bombed out. Those two
managed to carry on and finish. So next game, someone else hosted other
than me. I still bombed out, they carried on playing. The theory WAS that
it was only 56k modems who could handle more than two players without
bombing, however 008 has a 33.6k modem as well..

..therefore we think it might be my ISP. So if you're having problems,
trying changing ISP maybe and see if it helps? I haven't tried it yet but
will soon. Otherwise, it might be a 56k modem for me too..

But a successful UGVD Daytona meeting, other than the fact that I only got
to play one game and got my arse kicked into next week.. :)

ps. would there be any interest in a Daytona UGVD page? Maybe add it to
Fatboy's site? Post ideas..

I need the US version of this, so:

Does anyone want to buy a Jap copy?
Where is the cheapest to get a US one?

Cheers.

Been playing Daytona early afternoon. The lobbies were pretty quiet,
about 15-20 users. I had about 10 games, only one disconnect and the
races went smoothly. Anyhow I was wondering shall we organise a time to
create a UGVD lobby. I'd suggest weekend timeslot in early afternoon when
it seems to be pretty quiet.
