The Doctor: "Allow me to congratulate you sir. You have the most totally
closed mind that I've ever encountered."
When I first saw some of the in game cut-scenes, I was a bit
disappointed, especially the first encounter with Nettie (your
boss...). Once I got into the game, that changed. The effects/graphics
are a good bit ahead of Soul Reaver, and meeting up with Jaunty was one
of the more laughter inducing moments I have had in the last year or so
of gaming. Getting rid of Ghouls makes them break up with light shining
from within - cool. I miss the impaling from Soul Reaver, though.
The concept of Liveside and Deadside again is very similar to Soul
Reaver - you can't die. If you "die" in the real world, you go to the
Shadowland. If you "die" there, you go back to the last point
your "teddy" (don't ask) can remember, ie. the level start.
So, I have to go back to work now, but I'd recommend the game from what
I have seen so far.

Before you buy.
It is actually illegal (or at least against some Sega rules) for them to do
this.
