This may seem a stupid qusetion to ask but how do you do an unblockable attack to pass the training stage in Mission Mode? How can you tell from the command list whether a move is unblockable?

just look in command list, on the side of the move there are a various numbre of symbols like "M", "SP" etc. and is there a red "U" symbol then it's an unblockable move...
one tip is to use Yoshimitsu or Astroth, they have a various of very simple unblockable moves...

I think it has a red U next to the move in the command list. That's what I tried and it worked. It's a bit difficult to understand the move list, though. I wasn't sure whether to press the direction, then the buttons (a,b,x,y) or hold them all. Holding them all seemed to work.
