Judging by older mesages and threads, some people are still interested
in this game. If you are, please contact me [Mike Baker]. I invented
it and a project is in hand to re introduce it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Both me and my son would love to get hold of a copy of Logacta new or
old.
I had many hours of fun playing this game in the 70's with my brother.
Please let me know if it is re-introduced.

Many thanks,

Paul & Tom

I too had a copy of LOGacta - I enjoyed it for many hours too.
I still have the dice.
I don't think my kids would be interested though.

Many Thanks for many happy hours

Once again, thanks to everyone who has been in touch either directly
or via this group. There's now a serious working party on the project
to 'relaunch' and the ideas are coming thick and fast. I'll keep you
posted, but of you want to 'post' or get in touch directly, then I'd
love to hear from you.

Dear Mike,

I've still got the box ,dice ,log book and some points recoders(all
used)
I don't have the draw cards, dice selector or instruction book , I don't
think I needed all these after a while.
The dice were a godsend to me when I was a kid..I played all Uk leagues
european cups & world cups season after season.

I,ve still got your introductory letter (Managing Director) and if your
new project gets off
the ground...I would be interested, although you may struggle to get
kids these days interested with the invention of game consoles/pc's
etc....
....like what is a dice??

Mike, please, please please try and get this off the ground. The original game is rare as hell and comes up once in a blue moon on auction sites. would gladly pay over the odds for this.

Hi Mike
I have an original boxed set. When I was young I played it intensely but luckily left the last season blank. Two years ago my eldest son wanted to play it, so I photocopied the blank sheets and he played 8 seasons! Now my next son wants to play - but when I got Logacta out, it appears that the red dice is missing (you can imagine the words had with my eldest son!) I don't suppose you know where I can buy a replacement red dice do you? For now we have made one with the right numbering - but it is just not the same and would love an original

I still can't believe you have not put out a new version. I think it would do well if you keep it the same format (dice and paper - not computerised) as proven by my two sons who are gadget mad and yet still will happily play for hours with dice and filling in paper forms!

Do make contact please - and any news on how to get a replacement red dice would be brilliant

Did this project ever get off the ground?

I have been hunting for over a year to get hold of a copy of the original rules!

Is there any news on this project?

Personally I don't think the game needs any redesigning at all.

I think that the market would be looking for an exact recreation of the original even though the competitions and European countries have changed.

I would have thought that £25 would be more than acceptable as a price for devotees to pay.

Any updates on anyone trying to relaunch this game. I see from the thread that mike baker has not replied for along time I hope he is ok?

Despite excel versions etc I think there is a market for younger kids to play a revamped version similar to the original . I am keen to get involved and have football media contacts and know a few board game companies. I can be contacted at mikeleigh...@gmail.com if anyone is keen
to discuss further with me....

Mike,

I know that the game has been relaunched as Logacta 20 but I am still playing 2 points for a win and would love to get hold of a copy of the original rules.
Are you still around the Leeds area and would you have an old copy lying around after all this time?
