(Not the) Ongar Beer Festival

Someone mentioned to me that there is no beer festival at Ongar, Essex,
this year (usually it's on the May Bank Holiday weekend). Is anyone able
to confirm this, and know the reason why?

I went to the Ongar beer festival at the end of last year so I would think
that this years event will be later in the year

Unfortunately there will be no CAMRA Festival in Ongar certainly this
year and probably not any other. Most of the active members of the
appropriate CAMRA Branch (Herts-Essex Borders) live in the Harlow area
and they are looking at a festival in Harlow instead, possibly in
October.

Apparently the Ongar Community Association are looking at
possibly doing something themselves instead but I have no further
info.
