Hey Ho ! Just doing my best to inject a bit of life into this once
impressive group!

There's a beer fest at MOSI, the science museum in Manchester. Even if
you don't like beer, the setting is spectacular.

22 -24th March No pre booking.

The word on the street is that there'll be another beer festival on the
same dates at the other end of the city centre. The venue will be the
Lower Turk's Head on Shudehill, which has been closed and seemingly
abandoned for decades.

The pub has been done up, after a fashion, with a view to selling it,
and the Manchester Brewing Co-operative -
<http://manchesterbrewingcoop.wordpress.com/> - are going to show off
their brewing skills to the world by way of a mini festival.

Update: the festival at MOSI went ahead and was generally reckoned to be
a great success, but the festival at the Lower Turk's Head was
postponed. The promoters cited "logistical" problems, which could mean
anything. They hope to run a festival eventually, later this year. I'll
post more when I hear more.
