I feel that way too. Warmer weather, what's that?

If it warmed up significantly, I guess I'd barbecue more and grill
fruit to go with it. I'd make more things like watermelon salad or
pea salad. My go to menu for the occasional warm day is chicken and
potato salad. Love that combo.

Share some of the recipes you use. They may be different to ours so you
never know, thinking about warm weather stuff might cheer us up a bit:)

Sounds like perfect weather to me! Not too hot, not too cold.

I don't do much warm weather cooking because we have very little of
it. For barbecuing/grilling... no recipes, I just do what I feel like
doing at the moment. Today, my inclination toward chicken would be a
Greek style marinade and potato salad would be the mayonnaise type I
learned from my mother. If you want an easy, delicious main dish
salad, add chicken to Waldorf salad. For examples of others I'd be
inspired to make if we had better weather, here is my Pinterest board
- watermelon salads are down toward the bottom.

Good luck with the warm weather... I know you can count on July
because I've been in England (not Scotland) during that time and it's
like SF.... nobody seems to be prepared because it's so different from
the rest of the year. It's like my local "Indian Summer" which
happens for 1-2 weeks in the Fall (before global warming made
everything unpredictable). We haven't had a real Indian summer for a
few years, but the entire winter is warmer and there's less rainfall.
I'm not far enough North or at a high enough altitude to get snow,
unless it's a freak event.

It's not so much that I change, but that what's available changes. I pull out the fabulous traditions for summer, like vitello tonnato. As good tomatoes start to appear, those figure larger. Broccoli gets a last turn before it disappears until next October.

Red Thai currys cannot spoil anything.
