A friendly place with a certain amount of flexibility on serving hours, food
can be had post 11pm. Well the Indian Diner looks a cut above the usual
curryhouse, decor is modern and the music is not your usual Ravi Shanker
performance. The menu is interesting with many chef specials and dishes from
around India. The verdict : probably the best curryhouse in the Battersea
area (there is a choice of three), the meat was superb, not oily and the
sauce didn't have that usual semolina consistency. Only downside is that
they don't serve pints but all in all a classy place at reasonable prices.
Local Info:
Plenty to choose from on the ale house front, the Latchmere pub is on the
corner, closer to Battersea park is The Settle Inn and The Clock House all
worth a look.
We like freebies! Anyone going/been?

It must be near me. I have my curries delivered these days but tend not
to get them from across the river.

I visited an Indian restaurant while I was in Whistler, Canada, over

about it in a separate post.....
