Fantastic news for red squirrels

The Scottish Wildlife Trust has been awarded Ł2.46 million pounds by the Heritage Lottery
Fund to help save Scotland's Red Squirrels.

This is fantastic news that confirms that all the efforts to save Red Squirrels from
extinction in Scotland are worthwhile and one in the eye for those dwindling number of sad
people who still seem to support the invasive non-native Grey Squirrel which has spread
the deadly squirrelpox virus to the Reds.

Fantastic news. Here at www.exopest.co.uk we have seen the damage that greys do first hand. Their relentless spread across these isles will hopefully be dramatically hindered.
