Sadly the majority of British parents do not want asylum seekers to use
the same schools as they send their kids to. With teacher and textbook
shortages coupled with overcrowded classrooms it just makes a bad
situation worse.
At the end of the day its the parents who should have the final say over
the matter and not some trotskyist trade union. After all its the
parents who pay the taxes to finance education with.

I have already read it. Its just the usual left wing tosh of little
relevance to Joe Public and his kids at school.
Fair enough, but surely before anyone gets a 'say', they should show an
understanding of the situation. I'm not saying parents don't have an
understanding, but IMO there is too much democracy by people who don't know
the facts of what they are voting/dedciding on.
Example- The Euro. I don't know the good points or the bad points, therefore
I do not feel qualified to vote (if we do get a referendum). What
understanding do the 'celebs' who are discussing the Euro have?
