Anyone know the legality of pupils having pics of teachers on their phones -
that have been taken without teachers permission on school premises.
Does it matter if that person took the picture, or if someone sent it to
them?

It's an interesting point. If it were the other way round there could be
problems under the Children's Act.

Perhaps we should campaign for a Teacher's Act.

There are rules about having photos, look up "Model release" but think it
may just be for financial gain.
The question is why the children are allowed phones on in school time.

Irate letter from parent fulminating about the theft of offspring's mobile
phone demanding to know what precautions the school takes against theft of
mobile phones.
We take one precaution. No mobile phones are allowed
All parents were informed about this.
