Does anyone have, or know where I can get an instruction manual for a
Smiths TS1000 timer.

If not, does anyone have a website or an address/phone no for Smiths
themselves.

I'm desperate to get hold of one. I have a timer that I cannot
de-program, and that I cannot isolate from the mains because it shares
a fuse with the lighting circuit. It's costing a fortune, because it
keeps switching on a heating system.

Regards,

J

Hi, try http://www.timeguard.com/ I think this is the Smiths website. Tried
a site search for you but couldn't find a ts1000 - there is a "contact us"
facility so maybe they can help.

Sounds very Mickey Mouse to me, and needs sorting ASAP.

Doesn't it sit on a backplate from which it can be unscrewed?

Thanks Richard and Owain, I have sent an e-mail, and fingers crossed
they may know where I can get hold of manual.

Hi,
I have the same problem - I phoned Timeguard who used to manufacture
these units under Smiths name, I was put through to Rod Jones who sent
me a free PDF of the instruction manual. His email address is
ro...@timeguard.com

And I'm sure Mr Jones will be highly delighted that you've thanked him
by plastering his email address across Usenet

Great! A 2014 flashnewsgroups user, replying to 2006 a diybanter user,
