The brick corner of my new back porch is 85 degrees.
I used a technique called squint,
but it looks a bit accidental,
is there a better way I can do it?

Mitre cut the corner bricks at 42.5°?

Ibstock will cut and resin-bond them as specials, but I doubt it's cheap.

Personally I wouldn't have agreed to 85 degrees. I know it's now too
late, but why go for this angle?

Alternatively make a feature pillar which can be square where one wall
enters the pier at your chosen angle.

Fredxx - thanks,
this is the best idea so far,
(and I have been asking on several facebook brick groups too)
i hope the planners wont mind about an extra 65mm on the wall !

There are local cut & stick brick places ....
I bought hundreds of specials for my build .... and needed a pair of
particular angle bricks .... dropped plain bricks off, picked up
couple of hrs later - perfect. Only a couple of £ per brick.
