The one I had sand delivered in was snapped up by a friend who uses it
as a "boot liner" for the back of his car for when he has to transport
anything dirty, sharp etc. So far it's protected his boot from an old
lawnmower, rubbish being taken to the tip, and when he's collected bags
of sand, gravel etc. (which inevitably contain water that leaks out)
from the sheds.

Send them to me to save my topsoil in for the time being. ;-)
I've had half the country wanting to take it away but I'm buggered if
I'm giving it away only to have to buy some more in a couple of months
time...

Hi Olav,
Keep them in stock, because outside in the sunlight (and I suppose the Ultra
Violet) they disintegrate in less than a year!
I used one as a Cement Mixer cover and was very disapointed when the top
(where exposed to the light) fell to bits.

Let's hope Jewson etc. store their new ones in a cool, dark place then ;-)

A coat of aluminium paint helps, and also cuts down heat buildup. Also
works for the ubiquitous blue tarpaulins.
Best use I've heard of was someone who had a badger stuck in their
outhouse. They trapped it into this bag, stuck a pole through the
handles and carried it outside.
Better than the BBC's recommended strategy of shooting them 8-(
Using mine at the moment to take lawn clippings and hedge/shrub trimmings,
brambles etc to the tip.

I'm not at all sure why women like men. We're argumentative, childish,
unsociable and extremely unappealing naked. I'm quite grateful they do though.
Perhaps you could rent it out for the summer and collect in the
autumn... :-)

Due to space restrictions, I've used Hales skip bags instead of
hiring a skip a few times to get rid of junk.
AFAIK, they will also collect (for the same fee) 1 ton bags that
aren't "their" bags.
Just a thought for next time you have a clear-out.

Hi
They struck me as making a really BIG beanbag, filled with loads of
polystyrene packaging fed thru the shredder, plus those air pockets
used for packing now.

Small frame and ideal for kids play house.

Thanks for all the ideas. I didn't know they degraded in sunlight, not
had them long enough yet.
