Hi,
I got myself Parkside polishing set with their 75mm double bench grinder with flexible shaft. Polishing various surfaces using buffing felt wheels works fine but I had to resort to my own polishing paste applied to surface first. There is a green polishing compound in a small tub and I struggle to find a way how to get it form this tiny like 1" tub onto a felt wheel of the same size. The wheel is simply too big to fit in the tub so taht any compound would actually get onto its surface. Is there any trick to it, like pre-heat the compound first?
There is not a single word about this in the manual and whole thing looks like it is simply done so that they can tick a box with "compound added" without actually thinking whether it can be used in such packaging. Having bar of polishing compound would be easy to add on a spinning felt wheel, but really no idea how to work with this packaging.

Am I missing anything or you have some trick for this?

For whatever it is worth - I keep an old stainless steel knife to use for spreading polishing compounds onto felt wheels etc.

It is easier to use in this form than silly, small sticks of polishing soap.
