My non-condensing boiler (vaillant) makes a squelching / kettling /
air bubbling sound when its running the stay-warm feature (for quicker
hot water etc). However it does not make this sound at all when
heating water or the central heating.
Anyone know what it could be ?
Cheers,
Simon.

I have never used the stay warm feature on mine seems like a waste of
energy/money

Is it an always on or timed feature (mine would be always on) ?

sounds like it is operating for far too long and boiling the still
water in the manifold.

Ah, well it is on for what seems like a long time. Maybe a sensor is
faulty.
I'll see if the noise starts after a short while or straight away.
Simon.
