I have fitted a toilet cistern and fill valve that I purchased a few years ago. The fill outlet is circular, and works fine but is and noisy filling, obviously needing one of those collapsible lay-flat polythene silencer tubes. I've no idea if it originally came with one. Anyone know where can I get such tube in small quantities? It needs to fit a circular outlet of about 15mm diameter, which would make it about 24mm wide when layed flat. Probably will be fixed at the top with a cable tie.

Thanks,
Simon.

Just seems a waste. In reality I'd leave the valve and just use the tube. Thus continuing the problem. I know the lay-flat tube is used as a packaging material - now where have I seen it ?

Can't see less than 2" on there. A local packaging company has some 1.5" stuff, I could probably get some off them for next to nothing. The probably 1" stuff for the silent fill tubes seems to be hard to find.

Sorry.
Its a round outlet and a cable tie would be perfect for fixing the lay-flat polythene tube to it.
