I am wondering if anyone has any tips on whether the glazing bars can
be removed by prising up on their bottom ends as a start.
Is there any other way of freeing them while causing no damage so that
both bars and panel can be reinstated once the work is done ?
I am presuming that it would not be possible to slide the panel down
or down and out and replace it without taking off the bars on either
side.
Thank you for reading, and for your thoughts.

Most of them are like this:-

They are a pain in the arse to prise out. There is a "crocodile
teeth" arrangement.
The polycarbonate only goes in one way up BTW. Only one side is UV
resistant. It breaks if it has been put in wrongly and degraded.
Remember when putting back.
