Texas police search for 2-year-old girl who went missing at park, mutha
arrested

Police in Texas are searching for a 2-year-old girl who went missing in
a park Sunday morning, and have arrested the girl's mother in connection
with the disappearance.

The College Station Police Department said Tiaundra Christon has been
arrested and charged with making a false report and
abandoning/endangering a child in connection with the search for her
daughter, Hazana Anderson. Christon is being held in the Brazos County jail.

Police said Christon told them she took Hazana to Gabbard Park on Oct.
28, and went back to her car to get a bottle for the child shortly after
arriving at the park. When she came back, she said she found that Hazana
was not in her stroller.

Police said Christon "was not providing truthful information" when
interviewed, and that she was charged with abandoning/endangering a
child because she left Hazana close to a body of water, which police
said was an environment that "posed a potential risk to the safety of
the child."

5-year-old sista of Taylor Hayes shot in west Baltimore, mother confirms

A 5-year-old girl was shot Monday night in west Baltimore, city police
said. She is the half-sister of Taylor Hayes, a 7-year-old girl who was
shot and killed while sitting in a car in July, Taylor's mother
confirmed in a Facebook post.

City police said officers were called at 6:21 p.m. to Shock Trauma,
where a girl was taken with a gunshot wound to her groin. She was
immediately taken into surgery, alert and able to talk to doctors,
police said.

School officer sexually assaulted blindfolded girl: cops

A security officer at a Florida elementary school has been arrested
after sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl while she was blindfolded,
police said.

Malcolm Curtis Tillman, 22, of Tampa, was arrested Wednesday after
forensic evidence backed up an allegation the girl reported to
authorities earlier this month, claiming that Tillman victimized her
while inside a “game room” at Booker T. Washington Elementary School,
the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The girl told authorities that Tillman pulled her out of class on Jan.
10 before instructing her to sit on a chair with her hands behind her
back, according to an arrest warrant and search warrant affidavit
obtained by the newspaper.

“He told [her] he was going to take care of [her] and it was going to be
okay,” the affidavit reads.

Tillman then covered the girl’s eyes and nose with a black jacket before
telling her not to be scared. He then sexually battered the girl,
according to the documents.
