<quotes>

The U.S. will "take action" against Russia for alleged cyberattacks on
Democratic officials, President Obama warned Thursday, hours after his
spokesman claimed that President-elect Donald Trump "obviously knew" about
the breaches and leaks that critics say propelled him to victory in last
month's election.

"I think there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact
the integrity of our elections ... we need to take action," Obama said. "And
we will - at a time and place of our own choosing. Some of it may be
explicit and publicized; some of it may not be."

"I don't think anybody at the White House thinks it's funny that an
adversary of the United States engaged in malicious cyber activity to
destabilize our democracy," Earnest said. "That's not a joke."

I don't see Putin as 'the good guy' that Trump and Farage appear to, but I
do believe they are right when they point to western, US-UK-NATO axis,
antagonism of Russia which seems to be deliberately designed to bring the
west and Russia into conflict.

This seems to be Obama's last-gasp attempt to bring that about, and on very
flimsy evidence.

I don't believe Russia were behind the hacking of Democrat servers, and
simply seizing on one of Trump's throwaway lines of nonsense, is not proof
of their involvement.

I can find all sorts of unfair reasons why Clinton lost the election, can
assert all kinds of dirty tricks which were played against her, but I don't
believe that Russian hacking was one of them or that Trump was involved.

The main reason I was against Clinton was because I believe this is the sort
of nonsense she would have continued with which endangers us all.

Unsurprisingly the UK are singing from the same anti-Russian hymn sheet as
they always do ...

Vladimir Putin's spies have launched a 'campaign' of cyber attacks and
espionage against Britain in a bid to destabilise the West.

Whitehall officials believe Russia to be undertaking a programme of
misinformation and unconventional warfare in an effort to undermine the UK.

It is feared Russian tactics may include the discrediting of British troops
due to be deployed in Estonia next year through sham pub brawls and traffic
accidents.

NATO has already formulated the notion that cyber attacks would legitimise a
military response -

In 2014, after years of debate, NATO finally agreed that a cyberattack could
rise to the level of a military assault and could trigger the Article 5
protections, which allow the alliance to go to the collective defense of
another member that has been attacked.

As it looks like this is where we are heading, it can be presumed Russia
will be preparing herself for such an eventuality, which we will in turn
call Russian provocation and use as further justification for military
action. It is a typical poke the dog with a stick until it bites strategy.

If it is a White Christmas, that might just be nuclear fallout.

Mine Fuehrer!

I don't know what it is they want from this situation... have Clinton
and Obama secured massive rebuilding work contracts?

So Putin can drive submarines, pilot planes, wrestle bears, is a Judo
black belt and now it seems he (or his minions) can gain access
seemingly at will to the computer systems of what we're usually told are
the most advanced countries in the world? Doesn't all this just
increase his legend? I'd love to know how he did it... apparently it's
also 'highly probable' he influenced the EU referendum too.

It's easy to see what's going on; NATO has been angling for war for a good
few years, have been pushing troops up against Russia's borders, the US and
UK have been provoking and needling Russia whenever they can. It's clear
they are just itching for an excuse to start the fight.

What's not so easy is to see why or what they hope to achieve. I have no
idea beyond their being war-mongers with a blood-lust.

Putin is twice the man Chuck Norris will ever be, more than a match for Mr T
and the A-Team; even with Boy George making an on-side appearance.

Putin is tougher than Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Segal and Super Mario
strapped to an ICBM, with each carrying a couple of ICBM's.

We need the Patriot Act, the Investigatory Powers Act, to know what people
are doing on their computers and in real life. Putin just knows. America had
to have 9-11 to get "Freedom Fries". Putin could have just sent out a memo.

Putin found the Higgs-Boson particle as a child. He keeps it safely in his
wallet which is why CERN can't find it.

Putin decides if Santa makes a showing at Christmas. Emperor Ming bows down
before Putin.

Of course, Putin and the fascist, racist Brexit extremists are in
cahoots - I bet you yourself have a direct pipeline to the Kremiln with
all the anti EU propaganda you have been spewing lately !

And of course, next project for Putin is to make Merkel look bad for
importing 1,000,000's of raping, breeding 3rd world alien zealots into
the heart of Europe and replace her with a right wing xenophobic
government that will actually hold the welfare of actual Germans over
imported muslim brutes ! Hey ,,,, Why does Putin want that ? Isn't he
supposed to be happy to see the western world obliterate itself from
within ?
