Fellow Conservatives,
the last thing both our country and party need
is Ken Clark leading it. What both need is a strong right wing leader
to save our constitution (whats left of it) and to put the greatness
back into Great Britain. Ian will do all of this. Clark on the other
hand, will not. He will go at battle speed to make the process of
constructing a super state irreversable. The fact itself will be
impossible to get out of short of a "civil war". Clark and
Mrs.Thatcher sat at Mastricht and signed a document which set this
process in motion and without a single thought about the consequences.

He is alleged to have addmitted not to have read the thing he signed.

A vote for Clark is a vote for the destruction of the Conservative
Party. If we are not careful we could end up behind the Liberals.
This man should not be allowed to become leader of the Conservative
Party now or ever.

Is this Satire? Serious? Insane ramblings?

In case it is serious - the last thing this country needs is a
conservative leading it, be it Blair, Clarke or Smith (note how he
avoids being Ian Smith - wonder why?). Why the hell do we want to
become more right wing? I have this vision of Britian being a nice
place to live, not some Euro-US hybrid with none of the good points
from either. The Superstate is a good thing (tm), and neccessary for
this countrys survival in the global economy...

Mind you, a vote for Clark or Smith will make sod all difference
anyway as nobody will vote for either of them, so its a moot point
really.

Lib Dems for 2005!

The uk.*.* newsgroups have been subject to an attack of malicious
crossposting, along with a particularly nasty ploy of setting
the Followup: to an irrelevant newsgroup, thus follow ups disappear
to irritate others.

This is part of a long term and concerted attempt to make
uk.local.yorkshire, uk.local.birmingham among other uk.*.*
newsgroups unreadable.

Would everybody kindly check which newsgroup any followup will be
posted to, and trim the list of newsgroups in *all* followups. Please
post replies only to your "home" newsgroup.

Go away, troll. Follow-up now set correctly to alt.troll

Please everyone, don't follow-up original without looking very carefully
at where it is going. And please if you feel that you have to follow-up,
then set your own followup-to to alt.troll.
