I have just acquired the above 2 pieces of kit.

Is there an online idiot's guide on how to get them to speak to each other
using Bluetooth

Thanks

Boss1,

I have found a number of sites with varying degrees of advice - but one
thing you should be aware of is that there are a number of incompatibilities
between the TT | T68i | Vodafone GPRS, so depending on which service
provider you are using you may or may not have success.

There have been some posts on this newsgroup regarding configurations to
try - the PhoneLink software on your TT needs to be the latest version, and
even then you might get random DNS errors when you connect to the web.

Vodafone have promised to send me a manual configuration guide today, so
will post it if it arrives :-)

Otherwise do share any success that you have as I am really frustrated at
not being able to get the TT to surf through the phone whilst my laptop ->
cable -> T68i connection is really superb.

Boss1,

so I got the information from Vodafone and the good news is that it WORKS!

The instructions cover setting up a new Internet Data connection on the T68i
and then a corresponding entry on the TT to call it - I no longer get DNS
errors and can browse with EudoraWeb or WebPro browsers.

Instructions below:

The Palm Tungsten T is not supported by Vodafone, however I have spoken to
Palm who have advised the following -

The Tungsten T includes a new application called PhoneLink. It's installed
during the 1st HotSync with a PC. If for some reason, the icon is not
available in the launcher, the customer can re-install it from the included
Software Essentials CD-ROM.

PhoneLink guides the user through the configuration of the phone and the
network. It includes the GPRS settings of all European Wireless carriers.
The customer should not have to enter manually the connection settings as
previously with the M500 series.

The set-up procedures of the M500 series will work with the Tungsten T, but
the goal of PhoneLink is to avoid having customers go through this lengthy
configuration process.

Please follow the manual setup following -
