Software Update is telling me that the update to 12.4 is available to
download and install.

The Store icon is also telling me there's an update... <looks> ... ah an
update to Xcode. Apparently this includes support for macOS Monterey
12.3 (sic).

I wonder when the 12.4 support will arrive? :-)

This is supposed to fix a bug in MacOS whereby FireWire cameras weren't
acknowledged, even when connected via Apple adapters.

This is important for me, so let's hope it's sorted.

the isight camera isn't good enough for a small screen, let along big.
it's nearly 20 years old, which is a couple of lifetimes in technology.
