MX100 SSD firmware update

I have a Crucual MX100 SSD in my iMac, and I see there is a firmware
update available (http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/support-ssd-firmware).
Has anyone here installed it?

I have a MX100 in my Mini - these are the issues it's supposed to fix:

Version MU02 includes the following changes: Improved stability, Efficiency, and Performance during power state transitions Improved handling of environments with unstable power supplies Improved handling of environments with SATA interface signal integrity issues Improved response time for SMART read commands Corrected error handling NCQ Trim Commands Corrected reporting of SMART Attribute 5 Are any of these worth it? I guess I'll leave it for now, as I'm not having any problems with
the drive.

Update: having failed with following Crucial's instructions to burn a
bootable disk from their iso (the disk booted fine, but the install
failed with a "Status 13" error), I then tried flyzer's procedure (see
page 9 of the above forum), using zebul66's iso image: this has worked
fine, so I now have MU02. No differences I can detect, but whatever:
it's updated, the Mac still works, and I got backups.
