itunes four artwork problem

I've put some "album artwork" on some tracks in iTunes, and I now have two
questions...

1) Where is it stored?
2) How can I remove it!?

Any ideas?

In the music file itself, be it MP3, AAC or whatever.

"select the song and right click on it... go to "Get Info". It will
then show a couple of tabs, click on the Artwork tab. Click on
the album cover you want to remove, and hit delete. You have
to select the image even if there is only one image for the
delete button to appear."

"a simple way to remove multiple album covers is to Get Info on the
album, and check the box next to the album art well without dragging
any image onto it. that way, it deletes any images that are already
there, and you can then load a new one. "
