When I try to go to http://www.dutchexpatshop.nl
I get this: "This IP is being shared among many domains.
To view the domain you are looking for, simply enter the domain name in
the location bar of your web browser."

Never seen this before, and it happens both in Safari and Firefox.
Does anyone know what's causing this?

The website hosting has not been set up properly.

As the error message says, the IP address is for a server which hosts
several sites.

Normal web accesses pass the URL (http://www.dutchexpatshop.nl) to the
DNS lookup to get an IP address (in this case 37.34.62.7).

If you put 37.34.62.7 in the address of your browser you would see this
error message - correctly, because the server itself does not know which
of the sites it hosts you want. When you put the URL in the browser the
URL is passed to the site as part of the request - the IP address is
used simply to send the request to the correct server.

The server tries to match the URL against the names of the sites it
hosts. If there is a match it delivers the content of that site. I
there is no match you are sent the error message.

Are you the person who has set up this website? If so you should refer
to the information provided by the hosting company, or ask for their help.

Interestingly, http://www.dutchexpatshop.com does work as expected.

Thanks for that. No I am not connected with that website other than
being a potential customer.

Try again but without the www at the front of the address.
