OK, I'm moving both machines into the same room and only have enough
room (and power supply!) for 1 set of speakers, and will be using my
DTT2200 Creative / Cambridge ones.

On PC-1 I have a Soundblaster Live 5.1 card (currently connected to
said speakers) and PC-2 has a normal Soundblaster Live.

So... question is, how do I get the outputs from BOTH soundcards into
the one set of speakers?

Your help much appreciated. Mail if you prefer, I also check that more
often.........

As long as you don't have both feeding the speakers at the same time you
might get away with Y splitter adapters but you might find the signal
degraded if you pick up interference from the unpowered card.

The only sure way is to use a speaker switch box. Tandy (if they haven't
closed every store near you by now) usually sell them, Maplins is also a
good bet.

Easy peasy!
Take the 'line-out' from the 'Live' into the 'line-in' of the '5.1'
computer.
