Hi all... I have recently acquired four of these units and simply 'plugging them in' has worked well as a wired network, BUT -- I have no documentation or software for these and I understand that the wireless option default is 'open' i.e. an insecure WiFi network and it can only be encoded via Cockpit or the menu within the original install software which I cannot find on the Web and it is no longer available via the Devolo website... Although a firmware update is available it has a .dvl extension which I cannot open. Can anyone suggest how I may obtain the original install software and also advise me how to open the .dvl firmware download? Or otherwise protect my home WiFi?
Best regards... Richard.
