Computer Industry needs to push telecommuting much
harder..........................

The computer industry needs to make a major marketing push for
telecommuting. There is virtually whole industries like electrical or
mechanical engineering is unheard of due to corporate culture. The
computer industry does telecommuting all the time, because we work and
understand the business benefits that technology can deliver.

Education is another big area where distance learning needs to be
pushed. I propose a hybrid distance learning for college classes.
Students would go to a class one day a week instead of 4. If you walk
around your average college it's objvious that there is a lot of
capital and infrastructure costs involved.
