Hi,

We have just purchased a Matbro Teleram 3, with Joystick Control, and
Electric Shuttle. The machine seems to be very good mechanically, but is a
disaster electrically.

We have problems with the Joystick control, and also the FWD & REV control.
A few weeks ago, I remember a posting giving details of a person/company
that repaired the Joysticks, but the post is now deleted.

Can anyone help with details of a good repairer of these items.

Many Thanks and Regards

Andrew

Odd. Ours is quite old and we've never had any trouble.

Bit of a problem then.

Turned out that he didn't repair them as the jigging costs and so on
would be too high for small numbers. However you might send him the old
one as my experience is that if he gets enough then he will.

Er, nope.

Andy,
I don't know if it's the same man, but David King, (01789 731365) is
BRILLIANT at most electronic connected repairs. My only other advice would
be to spray WD 40 everywhere you can think of, and avoid buying spares
through Matbro if you can, as their mark-up is an absolute rip-off, and all
the parts are available elsewhere anyway if you are prepared to look..

Good Luck, David.

Many thanks to all who have responded. Having now been left stranded by the
Matbro on several occasions, we have decided to go for bust, and strip down
( break apart) the FWD/REV control. It appears that inside, are 2 micro
switches, that cost 48p each from Rapid Electronics or RS or ...... We try
and fit the new switches and re-assemble the unit. If any one is
interested, I will keep you informed of progress.

The Joystick is behaving at the moment, so we will save this project for a
rainy day.

Many Thanks

Andrew

Yes, I've seen their advert in the Farmers Resale. I passed on the
number to my customer who has a Matbro with shot TRE's, amongst other
things.

Not sure how he went on with them.

Hi,

Just to let you know that we have repaired the FWD/REV control on the
Teleram 3. Very simple, took 1 Hour and cost £1.00 for parts. Any one
interested, drop me a line. Project for the future is the Joystick control.

Regards

Andy

This usually fixes them but one bit of advise I can give is to
never use WD40 on micro switches.

Got ours fixed by our local dealer Morris & Corfield, Much Wenlock,
Shropshire (Tel 01952 ??????)

Didn't cost an arm and a leg.
