Just an announcement/reminder (to those who have already been told!),
that this year's London Pride march will follow a different route from
last year...

http://www.pridelondon.org/parade/
"The EuroPride Parade on Saturday 1 July 2006, will set off, for the
first time, down the world famous Oxford Street. We expect the Parade to
double in size compared to last year, to include up to 80 floats, around
200 costumed groups and walking bands, and thousands of individual
paraders.

The star-studded Head of Parade section will make its colourful way
along Oxford Street to Oxford Circus turning right down Regent Street to
Piccadilly Circus. From here the route moves on to Trafalgar Square then
along Whitehall to pass the Houses of Parliament before dispersing along
Victoria Embankment.

Check out the parade route maps. http://www.pridelondon.org/maps/

Festivities continue at the Trafalgar Square Rally, Leicester Square
Cabaret and throughout Soho."

The march starts at 1pm (for viewers and marchers alike!). Perhaps later
for those gossiping at the back :)
