I'd like to take this opportunity to publicise our fun day and fun run.

Chalton is a little village in South Beds, we are holding a fun day on 28th
of May to raise funds for the Chalton Village Association. It will be a
great event, with plenty going on, if you are nearby (or prepared to travel)
please come along. You won't be sorry.
Directions - M1 J12, head towards Toddington & take the first left (towards
Luton). At the T-Junction turn left. Follow windy road to straight stretch
of road into the village. The venue (Chalton Village Hall) will be well
signposted from there.

Our other event, the fun run, is being held on the 16th of July, another
great day out. It is being held to raise funds for the Chernobyl Children
Life Line.

This charity organises recuperative visits for children affected by the
Chernobyl disaster in 1986. Most people have forgotten the disaster but it
is now that the children who weren't even born when it happened, really need
our help. Many (if not all) of the children have been badly affected by the
radiation. The Chalton Link are hosting children in July 2000, these
children will be staying with us for one month and due to the rest, fresh
air and uncontaminated food, will return to Chernobyl in August having added
two years to their life span.

Come along and support us and have a good time. Post a request for more
details and I will get back to you as soon as the arrangements have been
finalised.

We still need sponsors for both events, and to finance bringing more
children for rest and recuperation. Can you (or your workplace) help in any
way?

Thanks for reading this far. I look forward to your reply.
