CABE urban design summer school

Summer school makes welcome return to Birmingham

MADE, the regional architecture centre in the West Midlands, is delighted to be leading the CABE urban design summer school in Birmingham 11 to 14 July 2010. It is the second time in four years that the school will be hosted in the city.

The choice of Birmingham recognises the tremendous transformation the city has achieved through good design as well as the huge challenges it still faces. The summer school team are working on a selection of inspiring keynote speakers for the school, as well as interesting workshop leaders and an experienced group of facilitators. The summer school also offers you an opportunity to network with national and international colleagues working on the built environment. You will learn, debate and work alongside architects, planners, urban designers, landscape designers, traffic engineers, regenerators and community leaders.
