One year ago. this happened.
The disparity of political stupidity in this nation is not only transparent but outright dour. There was a time in this country when the so called left had a monopoly of Violent public disturbance. The Chicago riots of 1968 guaranteed the electoral victory of Dick Nixon. Campus violence on college campuses in the late 60’s and early 70’s turned Americans off to the New Left. Then Nixon screwed up on Watergate and the pendulum swung left again.
It all started in the 70’s. The right decided that unity was better than division. Over the next decades the far right forms a unity. The extreme right was fragmented. The KKK didn’t like the Nazis and the John Birch Society didn’t like neither of them. Then came the militia movement in the 90’s who were hiding the mountain doing target practice. The Government didn’t take them seriously. Until 1995 April 19th when the Murrah Federal Building got Bombed by a militia sympathizer and 168 people perished. August 11th, 2018, at Charlotte Virginia a Unite the Right rally happened. There was a spectrum of representatives of the political right ranging from Pale o-Conservatives to Nazi skin Heads.
That was the precursor to January 6th, 2021.
So, the question is: What is more likely to happen in the USA? Fascism or Communism? If you say “Communism” then I have no use for your opinions.
