I'm just in the process of creating a new Wikipedia page dedicated to
the creation, storage and delivery of mathematics content. The
intention is partly to bring together disparate sources of information
already present in Wikipedia (although I'm finding lots of important
information missing) and partly as a way of disseminating the
conclusions of last year's content workshop. I am very keen to get
everyone's input into this Wikipedia page. Hence this post.
Note that we have to be a little careful in creating any new page in
Wikipedia, because articles that don't cite reliable published sources
are likely to be deleted.. That's why I've begun creating pages under
my user account in Wikipedia. Here is the web address for the
Mathematical Content in Electronic Media page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:IanDavidWild/Mathematical_Content_in_Electronic_Media
Please feel free to edit this page - and to talk about what you think
needs to be included in it using the "discussion" tab towards the top
of that page.
If you've any questions on what we are trying to achieve then please
do let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Ian.
