Hello,

Due to travel confusion I had to leave in a hurry this morning so I didn't have time to buy a power extension or gas cylinder.

While I'm sure I can wing it without if anyone has a spare or is passing somewhere that sells them I'd hugely appreciate being able to get hold of some. If you do buy them I'll of course be happy to reimburse you!

I'll be in the unaffiliated camp from about two this afternoon, and contactable as @JellybobUK on the Twitters.

Thanks,
Jon

Another one in need of a power extension as well. @iMartyn on Twitter.

I will be going via B and Q, but won't arrive until about 7pm

Any use?

Sounds great - I'm sure I can bum what power I need until then. Do you want to email me off list and I'll give a contact number as I'll probably be out and about the camp by 7.

OK, looks like B and Q have the following options for mains leads (ignoring those over 20M or with RCD):

1 Socket Extension Lead 8m 9.98
1 Socket Heavy Duty Extension Lead 10m 15.98
4 Socket Heavy Duty Extension Lead 10m 18.98
4 Socket Cassette Reel 8m 10amp 12.98
2 Socket Case Reel 12m 17.98
2 Socket Cable Reel 15m 21.98
4 Socket Case Reel 20m 24.98

The first three are just cables, no reel or anything.

Let me know which one you would like, I will buy the closest type that is in stock.

I'll go for a 20m reel, cheers.

Thanks, a 20m reel sounds good to me. The gas cylinder is for a small camping gaz stove - not sure of the exact type until I get it out of my bag.

That is now 3 of us after one of those, could get me some odd looks at the checkout :)

Almost certainly one of these then:

They are in stock at the B and Q branch that I will be using.

Just to let you know I'm with the Nottingham hackspace crew, if I'm not there I'm somewhere about lol.
