Hi,

I'm considering hiring a car for EMFCamp and wondered if anyone wanted
to lift share.

My current plan is going up on the Thursday and coming back on the
Tuesday, but this can change if you want to share with me. My route is
from Canary Wharf to Milton Keynes so anyone roughly on that route or
slight deviations would be good.

Looking at those dates it's going to be >£100 + petrol so I wouldn't
mind sharing the cost with someone who wants a lift (even one way or
whatever). Or if anyone else is driving and has similar dates/plans
and I could get a lift in exchange for petrol money, that would be
great.

Thanks,

Paul

I'm also interested in lift shares, but I'm from south west London (Richmond/Twickenham), so Canary Wharf unfortunately probably wouldn't be much help to me. Should we start a page on the Wiki for car shares?

Jodi.

I think a wiki would be a good idea. As I'm also interested in a car share. But I'm from Leeds so neither of you guys can help me. :P

I've now added a page to the wiki: http://wiki.emfcamp.org/wiki/CarShares

Not sure what else needs to be in the table, so feel free to add to it!

Hey thanks for that. I forgot to say, I don't have a car and I'm going from Friday to Monday.

If it's not possible to do a car share, it would still be great to travel down with people who are going to EMF.
If people are in the same area they should try get the same train/coach/bus for some friendly banter.

I'm going to wait for a couple more days to see if anyone offers up a car, but if not I'm going to try organise a coach party from the Leeds area.

I have considered it, and now booked it.

But this has now changed to coming back on Monday to save money.

On the plus side this is now cheaper. I reckon it'll hopefully come in
a just under £100 including petrol etc.

It also means I can deliver things from London -> Milton Keynes and
back on those dates if anyone requires that...

Cheers,

Paul

Hey JonnyB,

I've added my name to the list, and train is too rich for my blood, so I'll be catching the early coach on Friday unless a lift is offered.

Ahoy Matryn,

Yeah the train is crazy expensive. What time is that coach? I'm going to book my tickets sometime this weekend.
Also what coach do you think you'll be getting back?

Hey there,

I'm still torn between the 06:45 and the 09:40 at the moment.

Erring toward the 06:45 at the moment to have as much time at the event.  As for coming back, was planning on either the 11:55 or 13:55 coach on Monday

I just booked my tickets.
I wasn't sure if I would be able to make the 6:45 coach, so I'm getting the 9:40 one.
And I'm on the 13:55 coach on the way back.

I'm landing from Dublin at 08:50 in London, City Airport (LCY), so was planning on getting the train but have not looked at prices yet.

So if there is others heading around that time by either train / car / couch would be great to meetup.

London City Airport is just down the road from me. I'll be going up on

help you. When's you return flight?

Well, I missed the 6:45 so I'm on "Standby" for the 9:40, but guaranteed a seat on the 13:00 if that and the 11:00 stay full.
