I play quite a few board games, if I can find space I was going to bring a few along.
Would anybody else be interested?

Depending on the games, I could be :-) I myself may bring one or more of:
  • Munchkin
  • Chrononauts
  • SPANC
  • and whatever others I own that I think might survive

Probably, I can bring some too if anyone is driving from the
Preston/Manchester area and can give me a lift.

Oh, board games could be really fun.

Dave, do you have any expansion pack for Munchkin? That would be awesome! (but vanilla is great too).

Yea, I'm also hoping they don't get damaged.
I'm thinking of bringing any of:

  • Pandemic
  • Munchikin
  • Penny Arcade: Gamers vs Evil
  • Smallworld

The rest of my games are too big :P

Hopefully I'll be able to get a car share down and bring all of them. Otherwise I think I'll just bring Pandemic.

I don't have any expansions for munchkin either.
I got the expansion for Pandemic though.

Do we have any idea if there is going to be any table space for these?
Also you guys want to start a village?

I never played Pandemic, but it sounds like fun.

I can always bring a risk board if anyone has a space 10 hours, also there was a war on terror board game at the space for a while, not sure if its still there

I'd love to play Pandemic. I've played the original, but not the
expansion yet. I'll bring Fluxx along in case anyone fancies something
a bit quicker and sillier.

Surprisingly I haven't played Risk yet.
But I'm not sure I'm going to have a 10 hour window.

I have only played with the Clerical Error expansion pack, but the Cthulhu one sounds awesome.

I love how cheating is actually part of the game.

So what's everyone's favourite board game at the moment?

Me and my friends are really hooked on Mansions of Madness at the moment, mainly because I just got the Forgotten Alchemy expansion.

Munchkin!

Also some Monopoly would be nice.

I'm fond of Betrayal at House on the Hill, along with Carcassonne (for
which we have almost every expansion). Those are my two top games at the
moment, but there are plenty of others that I just haven't played
recently :-)

 If there is no space I'll be playing in my awning on my van and probably my mates next door in his trailer tent.

* Agricola

* setlers of Catan

* Risk 2210

* Plus a few others. :-)

But a game space would be great.

I finally finished a game of Game of Thrones, seriously the most intense and entertaining board game i have ever played. 10 hours to complete a 3-player game though!

Love playing Ticket to Ride, Small World & Carcassonne in both physical and iPad form. Citadels is also an awesome card game for up to 8 players - and way more plotty-schemey than Munchkin.

I can bring all of these along. I'd love to play GoT, but maybe in some form of fast-decision mode. Can't afford to lose an entire EMF day to a single game!

Similarly, would love to play Mansions of Madness, it keeps looking at me in the games shop in town.

I've got a few hundred games. Will probably bring Dominion (with nearly all the expansions), 6 Nimmt because it plays up to 10, The Resistance and maybe a few others.

I tend to prefer heavier strategy games (Brass, Caylus, Troyes etc.) to the more chaotic Munchkin.

Dominion! THANK YOU! I'd like to join a game or two at some point,
though I'm only a novice.

Also, does anyone have Monty Python Fluxx? I seem to remember that being
good for silliness.

Board  games tent is set up in the bytemark tent down by C1.

We need:
Players,
Board Games
Lights.

Come on over, we'll work up a schedule if we can, as we go.

Did anything happen about this? Is there a schedule somewhere, or just ad-hoc gaming?

I'm still keen too. Have bought Citadels, 7 wonders, and Hive with me. The first two are good for up to 7-8 players iirc.
