What do you do when you have built up an apiary over the years - "There are 7 full colonies, 6 nucs, all Langstroth. Also 2 top bar full colonies". - only to be told at this time of the year "that all your bees have to be moved off this site"
What do you do? When you don't have an alternative site to take them to.
Can you sell them? Altogether that is quite a lot of bees for a new owner to take on and the price you will get for them and all the kit is likely to be well under the going price.
Is there a bee keeper with a large enough apiary who would house your bees over winter and give you breathing space whilst you make other arrangements?
If you are near Slough and can take on a whole load of bees either permanently or as a temporary
arrangement - please email me.
